During my internship at Judith Kelly + Associates, a marketing and communications counsel in Pittsburgh, my boss diagnosed me with “extreme friendliness.” At first I was confused with this diagnosis, but then realized the condition made complete sense. In just three months I formed friendships with my bus driver, the doorman and the neighbors that moved next to our office.

I know it may sound kind of creepy, but my entire life I have wanted to know everything about everyone and find ways to help anyone I can. What can I say? I love to talk. My neighbors growing up dubbed me “Louis Lane,” because I talked to everyone and knew everything happening on my street. For those readers wondering who the heck is Louis Lane, she was a fictional character in the Superman series and was actually Superman’s love interest. Most importantly though, she was a reporter for a fictional paper called the Daily Planet and knew everything anyone wanted to know.

My personality is a great example of why I am interested  in nonprofit public relations. I am beginning my senior year at Kent State University and will graduate in May.

I was born and raised in the Steeler capital of the world and no matter where I go in life nothing will compare to Primanti Sandwiches, Terrible Towels and the Strip District. My family means the world to me and I would do anything for my younger brother and sister. In my spare time I enjoy working out, reading and spending time with family and friends!
